Wedding Reception at Skrøbelev Gods

The entire manor is yours—from the Terrace, where you’ll enjoy an atmospheric wedding reception, to Riddersalen, where we’ll set the table for dinner featuring exquisite food and wine, and to Rustiksalen, where the cocktail bar beckons and the dance floor calls. When the party is over, the romantic bridal suite awaits you, while your guests can retire to one of our 27 beautiful rooms.

The manor’s experienced wedding planners can help you, your future bride or groom, and your family with the entire process of planning a romantic wedding and reception. Planning your wedding starts with your budget and wedding wishes.

On your romantic wedding day itself, your wedding coordinator will also be on hand. The wedding coordinator has made sure that the table settings are perfect, the place cards are positioned correctly, and the candles and flowers have been arranged as agreed before the wedding reception.

We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our big day.

From our very first contact, we found the team to be incredibly helpful, dedicated and professional. You can really tell they have a wealth of experience with weddings, and that gave us a real sense of reassurance – both during the planning and on the day itself. Throughout the whole process, we felt that every detail was taken care of, and that our wishes were listened to and taken seriously.

On the wedding day, we were therefore able to let go of control completely and simply enjoy the day, because we knew that everything was in the best of hands. The whole day and evening turned out exactly as we’d dreamed – in fact, even better. The setting was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the staff were attentive, professional and incredibly kind to both us and our guests.

We’re left with the feeling that Skrøbelev Gods didn’t just provide the setting for our wedding, but helped to make the day truly special. It was without a doubt one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding.

Get married at Skrøbelev Church or at the manor on charming Langeland in the South Funen Archipelago

As part of a romantic wedding in our elegant function rooms, you also have the option of getting married here. The ceremony will be officiated by the local pastor from Skrøbelev Church on Langeland, south of Funen, which is located next to the manor. You can also get married in the park next to our 300-year-old chestnut tree or by the flowing water of our beautiful garden fountain.

After the wedding ceremony in the church or the park, the bride and groom, along with all the wedding guests, walk down the Love Path —across the white bridge by the old moat or through the park and straight into the reception hall—creating the most romantic and idyllic setting for a romantic wedding.

Romantic Bridal Suite

Treat yourself and your special someone—spend the wedding night in an elegant and romantic bridal suite with an adjoining en-suite bathroom featuring a spa and a walk-in wardrobe at Skrøbelev Gods.

The manor’s large and elegant bridal suite is tastefully decorated and furnished, featuring a stucco dome and a chandelier on the ceiling, inspired by St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. The adjoining bathroom features Italian marble, and the floor is paved with Russian Blue Volga, where the stones shine like sapphires. The adjoining walk-in closet is, of course, made of solid oak of the finest quality.
